What services do you provide?

We are proud to offer major collision repair, minor collision repair, structural repair and alignment, auto glass repair, interior repair, paintless dent repair, rental car services, insurance claims assistance, 24-hour emergency tow assistance, paint and finish, on all makes and models, foreign and domestic. We also provide these services on larger vehicles at our Amsterdam location including; RVs, motorcoaches, tractor trailers and commercial vehicles.

What insurance companies do you work with?

We work with all insurance companies. If you need insurance assistance, our friendly office team will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have or arrange for assistance throughout your claims process.

How do I know if my insurance will cover the repairs?

You need to speak with your insurance provider to let them know you are getting an estimate. When you’re talking to your agent, you will also want to find out how much your deductible is. Notify your insurance provider if we are your collision repair shop of choice, schedule your estimate with one of our team members, and we’ll handle the rest.

How long will it take?

We understand how inconvenient it can be without access to your vehicle for everyday tasks. At Brown’s Collision and Brown’s Collision and Coachworks, we want to get you back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. Each repair process is different and there will be varying factors to consider in determining the length we will need your vehicle for repair. Rest assured knowing we will keep you updated every step of the way.

What days are you open?

Brown’s Collision is open for business Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-Noon. Brown’s Collision and Coachworks is open Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturday 8:00an-12:00pm (Noon).

Can you match the paint color?

Brown’s Collision and Brown’s Collision and Coachworks uses state-of-the-art color matching equipment systems using only the best environmentally safe PPG automotive paints. Our certified team constantly upgrades its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle’s finish matches.

Can I get other service work done while my car is in the auto body shop?

Yes! Just let us know, and we’ll work with our local partners to make the necessary arrangements.

What if I need a rental car?

We are more than happy to assist you with arranging a rental car in the event you need one.

How do I pay you?

We want to make it easy for you. We accept all major credit cards, cash, personal checks, and debit cards.

Do I have to use the auto body shop my insurance company tells me I have to?

Many insurance companies recommend auto collision repair shops to use after your collision; however, it is your right to choose where you take your vehicle for auto body repairs.

When can I wash my car?

We recommend that you take a lot of precautions with your vehicle for the first 30 days after repair. If you are going to wash it, we recommend initially skipping the commercial car wash and washing it by hand with cool water and a very mild cleaning solution using a soft cloth or sponge. Let it air dry too!
